Hello, all. For the time being, you can call me Furniture. I doubt more introduction than that is necessary, so I'll just jump into the nitty-gritty.

I have always been a skeptic - a scientist governed by reason and logic. It seems almost embarrassing for me to believe in the paranormal. However, despite my misgivings, I have always found myself drawn to and, to be honest, obsessed with the supernatural. I have never had a supernatural encounter, never so much as considered that perhaps there is something beyond, but I have consistently found myself pulled, again and again, to the study of the occult. This time, however, I've decided to actually allow myself to follow through.

I come here as a researcher. Conveniently, I am currently living on what is generally considered a very "haunted" campus, so I suppose if I chose to seek them out, encounters of a metaphysical kind would not be difficult to come across. I would like to begin to explore ways to observe, experience, and research the world that the members of this forum so comfortably inhabit. So, here I am, with an open and inquisitive mind and an eagerness for your experience and input.
