While Catholicism is a very accepted religion in our society it's also one of the most mystical. Some basic stories include Jesus rising from the dead. Jesus turning water into wine. His healing of Lazarus that also rose from the dead. All these are considered "miracles" but are just as likely to be mocked if these stories were told today on Maury Povich show.

What do you feel is one of the weirdest stories in the new testament? Or maybe just something with Catholicism you find strange.

I find it weird that they follow the Pope, a supposed prophetic person, yet their religion states that they should only follow God.

The pope is a figurehead and considered infallible. He is not prophetic.

This religion is one that is shrouded in secrecy. I am personally against the Catholic church, due to the sexual scandals involving their higher ranking members, and their "Holy" Crusade a loooong time ago. It was basically justified ethnic cleansing. The bishops and priests "absolved" the warriors, claiming they could remove all of their sins and the murders that they were committed were in the name of God, which you COULDN'T. First of all, to even be absolved, you had to confess your sins, and second, murder is NOT righteous in ANYWAY. God would not approve of such horrendous actions.

That's not the only reason why I am against them though. They treat religion like a job. Like any enjoyment or pleasure is a bad thing. I may be stereotyping here, but what I stated before is usually more reserved to the devout Catholics.

Catholisism is nothing but sunworship, But if you read in the Bible you will see that the Catholics has every type of religion in them, they are not Christian in any way!!!
Catholisism is the fastest growing religion besides Muslim(Islam) the reason is the buy people over to them, they are not God pleasing and the even killed Christians.

i am also not a guy who likes the Catholics and worshiping Mary is idolitry.

And Omniscient those stuff you said about miricales is true, but it aint' Catholic, the Catholics use it to act like they are Christians, It is actually real happenings. It is not a mockery. In todays times it is not possible thogh Satan is using people to make as if they can do stuff so that Christians looks silly.

Jesus died for our sins, NOT MARY. he paid the penalty for our sin's with His own Blood. He rose again the 3rd day conquering death. He assended into Heaven, where He is rulling ower His People. and He will return again one day to Judge the Living and the deid.

The miricales performed is not a mock, it is refecting that Jesus was God and had power to do that is Mockery.

Islam is now the most "strongest" religion in a way,it's spread worldwide,believed by many,and allot of Muslims read their Quran,pray,worship ect.

but on the other hand, Christians are now mostly not reading their Bible,fighting,drinking alcohol,and what not,now a day's many don't care of their religion. they have just forgotten about it,however,

there are many who are steadfast and haven't.
