The name of our eternal Lord is rarely used in the Bible, yes. There are several theories as to why. One is that the name was simply removed during translation; another is that it is possible that they never wrote the name of God down as they never spoke it, because they believed themselves unworthy to use it.

I don't really know,but it differs on other religions,English they refer as god. but what is the word God,it's a name given by humans. |

This has nothing to do with the "name of God", as if there is a "right name" anway. It seems that the only time the Protestants and the Catholics, where not butchering each other, jumped on with religious zeal, anyone that did not fit into their definitions and practices of who is the "true God and what is "HE" to be called.Ponder over that irony won't you.
